Bio      
The Chicken Diamond 'project' came out of eastern France blast furnaces in 2009. The  
idea: put the Mississippi Hill Country Blues to fusion until it reaches the temperature of a  
Stooges Metallic 2 X KO. 
This is what Charles 'Chicken' Diamond has tried to do with the 5 albums he released on  
Beast Records (Number 6 to be released in april 2020). His dirty work has quickly been  
noticed in the french press (Rock & Folk, les Inrocks, Abus Dangereux...). And the main  
suprise is that the guy works as a true solo artist. A real one-man band, using digital  
drums and vintage guitars leading everyone to believe a madmen group is playing. 
On stage, he is of course mostly playing in France but he has also been featured in  
festivals in Switzerland, Portugal, Germany, Netherlands… and even in the United States  
where he was headlining the famous Clarksdale Deep Blues festival in 2019. 
Even if his style is ultimately close to the blues roots, his appearances have always  
inspired fear and loathing to the Eric Clapton fan base!
